Aims & Objectives

The aims and Objects of the Society, for which the same is established, are as under:

1. To develop, own, manage and run start-up activities for development of start-ups and small and medium enterprises in agriculture science, agriculture technology, information technology, computer science, biotechnology, bioengineering, agriculture marketing, value addition, and similar domains.
2. To encourage the aspiring entrepreneurs to take an active and abiding interest in the entrepreneurship and self-employment so as to contribute towards the enhancement of the social utility of the nation.
3. To institute various launch pad programs to encourage entrepreneurs to achieve excellence in their various pursuits.
4. To help startups raise funds in various seed and angel series.
5. To carry on the business of running and facilitating start-ups and Small and Medium Enterprises.
6. To organize accelerator programs and cohorts, workshops, seminars and related activities through in-person or internet or otherwise in Pantnagar and across India.
7. To carry on in India and abroad the business of marketing of works of company, associated companies, incubated companies and other products related to incubated companies.
8. To organize, aid, counsel, assist and promote all types of workshops, accelerator programs including cohort programs, launch-pad programs, group discussion programs, guest lectures, trade exhibitions, events, charitable shows, fund raising events, rural shows, all other connected promotional activities in Pantnagar and across India.
9. New Venture Creation: to promote new technology/knowledge based ventures.
10. Technology Commercialization: to provide a platform for speedy commercialization of technologies developed in the host institution or any academic and R&D institution of the country.
11. Interfacing and Networking: to provide networking between academia, industry and financial institution.
12. Value Addition: to provide value added services viz. legal, financial, technical, IPR, etc. to incubatees.
13. To undertake experimental production and assess consumer's acceptance and marketability;
14. To encourage scientific applications for making high technology viable and cheaper and thereby encourage industries to diversify into new/high technology intensive areas;
15. To build a new class of technically competent entrepreneurs from science, technology and engineering to take up technologically challenging industrial ventures;
16. To provide an environment for creative, and innovative individuals with entrepreneurial capabilities;
17. To provide R&D base for entrepreneurs
18. To develop indigenous technology
19. To establish links and collaborate on various issues of mutual interest with the International Organizations
20. To organize periodical training programmes of Entrepreneurship Development;
21. To create facilities for testing and calibrating the products manufactured by entrepreneurs;

• Promotion of activities related to launch of new Startups by individual, groups, students, faculty members, staff and others from within the state of Uttarakhand.
• Technology management and commercialization of outcomes of research, products, technologies and process etc of GB Pant University, Pantnagar
• To promote and implement Uttarakhand Start-Up policy.
